Electrical licence

A job with the electrical tag or an electrical trade needs a licensed electrician on it. Outside New South Wales the sheet names the licence and does not cite a law. A role reading "licensed electrician" counts as holding the licence, and the sheet says so where it matters.

How to write it in the crew list

In the tickets column, separated by semicolons: electrical licence 2027-06-30. A date as year-month-day or day/month/year.

What the sheet prints

Missing on a job that needs it: a red flag on that job and that person naming the ticket, with NSW Home Building Act s 14 (NSW). The person stays on the job.
Expiring within 30 days of the sheet date (30 counts, 31 does not): a note on the person's line.
Expired before the sheet date: a red flag on the person's line, and it no longer counts on any job.

the NSW Home Building Act, s14
s 14 Electrical wiring work only by qualified supervisors or supervised certificate holders. Electrical wiring work (residential or not) may be done only by a qualified supervisor (the holder of an endorsed contractor licence or supervisor certificate authorising that work) or by a tradesperson certificate holder authorised to do it under supervision, working under a qualified supervisor's supervision and directions. Another individual may do it only if a qualified supervisor is present at all times and available to be consulted and to direct the work. A supervisor of a certificate holder must give directions adequate for the work to be done correctly and personally ensure it is; a supervisor of an unlicensed individual must also be present while the work is done, be available, give adequate directions (normally including a requirement to report progress in detail) and personally ensure the work is correct. The section applies to Crown employees. Maximum penalty 1,000 penalty units for a corporation and 200 otherwise.
